Bronto S70XR for W. Schnitger GmbH

W. Schnitger, based in Northeim, Germany, has taken delivery of a Bronto S70XR aerial platform. W. Schnitger offers a full line of services, sales and rentals of mobile cranes, aerial work platforms and commercial vehicles. The S70XR is the first of three units bought by W. Schnitger and the second S70XR will join their fleet in February 2022, followed by a smaller S35EM unit in Spring 2022. All units are used in W. Schnitgers rental business across the country.

The S70XR unit has a maximum working height of 70 meters and is equipped with a 220° rotating working cage, a 400 kilograms cage winch, Bronto 5+ control system and radio remote controls along with many other options. The unit is mounted onto Volvo FM 460 8×4*4 chassis, has a total weight below 32 tons, transport length below 12 meters and it can be driven without any special road permission through entire Germany and other European countries.

The new aerial platforms are great additions to W.Schnitger’s extensive rental range and allow them to offer more options to their customers and meet their expectations and demands.
