Boom Logistics strengthens fleet with four 230-feet Bronto aerial platforms
11 February, 2026Boom Logistics, an Australian company specialised in delivering lifting solutions and services across the country, recently visited Bronto Skylift headquarters together with our long time Australian partner GFS/Bronto Skylift AUSNZ, to inspect the latest additions to their fleet, four 230-feet Bronto S70XR aerial work platforms. For Boom, these new units are a part of their fleet renewal and expansion project and a continuation of their relationship with Bronto that dates back more than three decades.
A partnership built over decades
Boom Logistics’ history with Bronto Skylift goes back to 1991 when they bought their first Bronto. Over the years, Bronto platforms have formed the backbone of a large and diverse fleet which at one point exceeded over 50 Brontos.
“These four units are the first of hopefully many. They will replace older machines and at the same time help us build the fleet back up in a planned, sustainable way.”

Market demand is a driving force behind Boom’s fleet expansion. While smaller access platforms remain essential for a range of applications, Boom’s focus is increasingly on large-scale project work. The Bronto S70XR offers the reach, stability and working envelope required for complex tasks in challenging environments and remote locations.
“On major projects 230 feet and above is where the work is. At this stage, the 230 ft is the most called-for machine in our market.”

Reliability that delivers
Operating across Australia means equipment must perform reliably in demanding and remote conditions, where downtime can have a significant impact on project schedules and customer operations. For Boom, that is where Bronto stand above the rest.
“Reliability is number one. Our customers and our operators love them.”
Anton Moitzi, National Technical Support – EWP, Boom Logistics
The team praises Bronto’s advanced remote diagnostics and support capabilities. Aerial platforms can be accessed, diagnosed and often fixed remotely regardless of location.
“I landed here in Finland and immediately had a call from Australia. I was remotely dialing into a machine in Blackwater and fixing it on the spot. No other manufacturer offers that level of support.”
Anton Moitzi, National Technical Support – EWP, Boom Logistics
Strong aftersales support has been just as important as the units themselves. Boom highlights long-standing relationships with Bronto service professionals in Australia and Finland alike. This consistency has kept Bronto as Boom’s preferred choice, even after operating mixed fleets with other brands.
“We’ve tried them all. And we always come back to Bronto for reliability, spare parts availability and service”

Looking higher and greener
While 230 feet is currently Boom’s highest working height, their ambitions extending well beyond that. Sustainability is also firmly on the agenda. As Boom continues its ESG journey in Australia, interest in hybrid and battery-powered solutions is growing.
From technical performance to aftersales support, Boom Logistics’ message is consistent.
“They’re some of the best-looking units on the market, they’re reliable and they deliver every day. You can’t go wrong with Bronto.”
