From the ground up: celebrating over 8,000 Bronto aerial platforms

It’s official. Over 8,000 Brontos have rolled off the production line.

And it’s not just a number – it’s a huge milestone in a more than 50-year journey. Since 1972, we’ve delivered reliable, user-friendly and, above all, safe solutions to our customers across the fire and access industries.

These 8,000 Brontos represent countless hours of R&D, and our dedication to meeting the needs and exceeding the expectations of customers on every continent. Each one is part of our mission to provide the best solutions for working safely at height – platforms built with Nordic know-how and customised for the specific needs of each customer.

To our amazing customers, partners, and Brontonians…you have our heartfelt gratitude. You’ve been at the core of our journey, some for decades. Without you, this would never have been possible. We’ll continue to evolve our aerial platforms alongside the changing needs of our customers and the latest technical innovations.

What makes a Bronto?

We’ve always made sure our aerial platforms are a cut above. But what really makes a Bronto? We asked you. Here are some of the most common answers:

    • Safe and stable. Operators feel safe in the units, and they’re rock-solid at height. If available, Brontos are the operators’ first choice for access.

    • Easy to use. Operation is easy to learn, with robust safety features that prevent operator error.

    • Fast and versatile. Brontos roll directly onto the worksite and get operators up in the air fast, without sacrificing safety. Once in the air, the aerials offer versatile access, with high vertical reach, outreach, and up-and-over reach.

Generations of reach

We’ve come a long way since 1972. Take a look at how Brontos have developed over the years.
