Highest aerial work platform in Greece

S90HLA aerial work platform in windfarm

Chrysanthopoulos Cranes Company, a Greek company specialized in lifting and special transport, has taken a delivery of a 90-meter aerial work platform, Bronto S90HLA. There are about 50 Bronto aerial platforms around Greece, many of them used by the fire services. Chrysanthopoulos Cranes Company has two previous Brontos, a 62-meter S62MDT and a 70-meter S70MDT. The recent addition, S90HLA, is the highest aerial platform in the country.

“Our story with the first Bronto aerial platform began back in 2012 and with our new purchase of Bronto S90 HLA, it consolidates our position in the field of work at heights in renewables and other industries as well. Bronto Skylift is the leader in the market of hydraulic platforms providing safe and efficient solutions and we are very delighted that we have found a partner we can rely on. And that is our aspiration, to continue on it”

CEO Konstantinos Chrysanthopoulos

The recent S90HLA was supplied by the local distributor, LKW Lift Iberica, as a pre-owned machine from Spain, original year of manufacture is 2008. The unit is mounted onto MAN TGA 10×4 chassis and features 90m working height, 32m maximum horizontal outreach and a 440kg safe working load. The working cage is extendable up to 3,8m wide and has an integrated 200bar water/airline, as well as hydraulic outlets.

With such a long lifespan, it is not uncommon that Bronto aerial platforms have multiple owners during their lifespan. When maintained correctly, Bronto’s can serve reliably for decades. LKW Lift helps Spanish customers to renew their Bronto fleets by helping to sell the pre-owned equipment to other countries as well.
