A 183-foot aerial platform for Skyway Lift Rentals Inc.

Skyway Lift Rentals Inc, a company specialized in providing truck-mounted aerial lift rentals across the United States and Canada, has recently bought a 183-foot (56-metre) Bronto S183XR aerial platform. The new aerial will be delivered at the end of 2022 and it will be the third Bronto S183XR unit in Skyway’s fleet, allowing them to keep up with the growth of their business and customer demands.

The XR range of aerial platforms was designed by the operators for the operators, allowing you to do more for less. The S183XR reaches higher and further with reduced operational costs and increased productivity without compromising what you value the most, safety. The unit has the best-in-class ratio of vertical reach to side reach and has great maneuverability on big city streets due to its compact build. It also includes a fifth-generation Bronto+ control system that provides prices and stable movements, has a resistive touch screen and is very simple and smooth to operate.

Skyway’s new S183XR aerial platform will be mounted on a Mack 6×4 chassis and equipped with various operation enhancing options, such as an extendable working cage with a 600 kg safe working load and ±220° cage slewing, a water hose between the turntable and the cage, a complete turntable control station and 360° continuous rotation of the turntable.

The operators of the unit will receive professional training from a certified Bronto Skylift instructor upon the delivery of the unit to strengthen their knowledge of Bronto Skylift aerial platforms and enhance operational performance.
