L&N Platforms takes delivery of a 47-metre aerial platform
13 October, 2021L&N Platforms, based in Borough Green, England, has taken delivery of their new Bronto S47XR aerial platform. L&N Platforms offer a full line of services for working at height, ranging from exterior window cleaning to maintenance and equipment rental in the whole of the southeast of England. The new aerial platform was handed over at the 2021 Vertikal Days trade fair where the unit was also on display.
The S47XR has a maximum working height of 47 metres, outreach of 26 metres and is equipped with an element lifting rig, radio remote controls for boom movements and an aluminium dropside for added storage along with multiple other options. The aerial platform has an extendable working cage featuring a cage extension up to 3.7 metres wide, a 600 kg cage load and a fitted element lifting rig to provide maximum flexibility for window cleaning and the media requirements of the customer.
The unit is mounted onto a Volvo FE 320 4×2 chassis and has a weight of around 18 tonnes.
All XR-range units have an easy to operate Bronto 5+ control system that maximises efficiency and provides smooth movements for maximum cage stability.
