Brann & Redning, a Norwegian two-day fire and rescue conference takes place in Gardermoen on September 26.-27th and we will be there together with our long-time Norwegian partner Braco A/S. The event brings Norwegian fire and rescue professionals together along with exhibitors from around the world to discuss the future and development of fire and rescue services in Norway. At the event we will be presenting a Bronto F45XR aerial rescue platform that was delivered earlier this year to a local Nedre Romerike fire brigade as well as our new Bronto One service. Bronto F45XR aerial rescue platform
The Bronto XR-range aerial platforms are modern, compact firefighting solutions that are easy to drive to the site and user-friendly to operate. The effective outreach of 26.5 metres and everyday usability makes the 45-metre Bronto F45XR an essential piece of equipment for all municipal and industrial firefighting missions. The F45XR aerial on display at Brann & Redning is a new unit recently delivered to Nedre Romerike brann- og redningsvesen IKS, a local Norwegian fire brigade serving the municipalities of Lillestrøm, Rælingen, Lørenskog, Nittedal, Gjerdrum and Aurskog-Høland. Built to serve in the tough conditions of the Nordic countries, the F45XR is mounted on a Scania P500 6×2*4 chassis and fitted with customer specific equipment such as ultrasonic collision guards in the rescue cage, radio remote controls for boom movements, waterproof lockers for fire equipment in the cage, color video camera mounted in the cage boom and custom lights across the unit.

Bronto One Simulator
The brand new Bronto One Simulator offers an immersive, hands-on experience in maneuvering and controlling a Bronto aerial platform. It will give you the opportunity to put all your hard-earned skills to the test, or just try operating for the first time in a safe environment. In case VR glasses cause dizziness or nausea, the simulator can be connected to a TV or display.
In addition to the boom movements, Bronto One Simulator offers the possibility to drive the unit on the roads of a real-like virtual city and practice safety in traffic. Steering wheel and pedals makes the experience even more realistic. Bronto One Simulator and related Bronto Trainer software work as a stand-alone and does not require network connection.
