Bronto Skylift at AFAC2222 August, 2022
We are excited to be a part of the AFAC22 Conference & Exhibition powered by INTERSCHUTZ held in Adelaide, Australia on August 23.-26th. The event is Australia’s largest and most comprehensive emergency management conference and exhibition. We will be represented by our long-time Australian distributors, Alexander Perrie, our sales partner in the state of NSW and Bronto Skylift Aust/NZ, our sales partner in the rest of Australia and all of New Zealand. Bronto Skylift Aust/NZ will showcase two of our aerial rescue platforms, a Bronto F28ALR and a Bronto F45XR, specifically designed to serve the Australian fire crews.
In addition, you can also participate in our global Bronto Challenge 2022 where you will have the opportunity to compete on a timed aerial race course in virtual reality. Experience our aerial platforms yourself and see if you have what it takes to become a legend in the Bronto Challenge!
When a rescue mission has been launched, and you don’t fully know what you are up against, the F28ALR is the answer. This first response unit includes everything you need: a fire truck, an aerial platform and an option for a rescue ladder. It can facilitate a large crew and has vast locker space for equipment. The working height is 28 meters and outreach is over 20 meters – best in its class.
The F28ALR presented at the event is owned by Fire Rescue Victoria and features a bodywork designed and built by Bell Fire Queensland. The unit is mounted onto a Scania 6×4 chassis and is loaded with various optional equipment such as an emergency back-up system, radio remote controls for boom movements and a video camera system in the cage. The unit is displayed at Scania’s stand 160.
Bronto Skylift F45XR provides versatility, effective outreach and everyday usability to all muncipal and industrial fire fighting missions. It emphasizes performance and usability above all. The F45XR has a compact construction, an ergonomic turntable control station and can be equipped with various additional options to ensure efficient and safe performance in all firefighting and rescue situations.
The F45XR showcased at the event is owned by South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service and features a bodywork designed and built by Bell Fire Queensland. The unit is mounted onto a Scania P450B 8×4 chassis and is equipped with various additional options such as an ultrasonic collision guards and a camera system in the cage, an emergency back-up system and radio remote controls for boom movements with a display tablet. Bronto Challenge Tour 2022
In 2022 you will have the opportunity to compete on a timed aerial race course in virtual reality. Think you have what it takes? Put on the VR-glasses and try it out – Bronto Challenge 2022 is here!
The Bronto Challenge will be available in various local shows around the world during 2022 and the winner will be revealed in December 2022. The challenge will be carried out with the brand new Bronto One Simulator, which offers an immersive, hands-on experience in manoeuvring and controlling a Bronto aerial platform.
The Bronto Challenge will give you the opportunity to put all your hard-earned skills to the test – or just try operating for the first time in a safe environment. The race will include a pre-defined route to follow using the aerial platform. The winner is the operator who completes the task in the fastest time and with the fewest unnecessary movements.
In addition to the boom movements, Bronto One Simulator offers the possibility to drive the unit on the roads of a real-like virtual city and practice safety in traffic. Steering wheel and pedals make the experience even more realistic. The road driving will not be a part of the race track, but is available to be tested in tour locations.
In addition to the great fame and glory, the winner gets to choose a charity organization, that will get a 5000€ donation by Bronto Skylift. A beautiful, unique Bronto Champion trophy will go home with the winner. The 2nd and 3rd will receive a set of Bronto Skylift merchandize and all participants will get a small surprise.
The Bronto One simulator can be found at stand 166. We recommend registering before the exhibition so we’re prepared for your attempt!
